Privacy

We keep what it takes to run your event.
Nothing more.

We never sell or share what you give us, and we don’t use it for ads. This page says exactly what we collect, why, who handles it, and when it’s deleted.

Tournament brackets

Players. Your name, as the organiser types it or as you add it yourself, and whether you’ve checked in. That’s it: no email, no phone number, no account. Names are what the bracket shows, so anyone with the bracket’s link can see them, and so can anyone on the venue’s page if the organiser chooses to list it there.

Organisers. An email address only if you ask us to send you the staff link. We send it once and don’t store the address. We keep a one-way fingerprint of it, which lets us check that a request for a new link comes from the same address but can’t be turned back into the address. The fingerprint is deleted after 400 days. The staff link itself is stored the same way.

Where from. When a bracket is made we note the country it was made from, which Cloudflare tells us. No city, and no IP address is kept. We use it only to count where brackets are run, and it’s deleted with the bracket.

Phone alerts. If you pick your name and allow notifications, your phone gives us a delivery address for alerts. We keep it for 7 days, or until you press Stop. Alerts are encrypted so only your phone can read them; the service that delivers them (Google, Apple or Mozilla, depending on your phone) sees only that a message was sent.

Usage counts. To learn which parts of the bracket get used, we count actions such as opening a bracket, turning on alerts, checking in or sharing the results: which bracket, how the page was reached (QR code, link or venue page), and the kind of device (iPhone, Android or computer). No names and no IP addresses, nothing that follows a person. Deleted after 90 days.

On your phone only. Who you follow, whether alerts are on, and any scores waiting for signal stay in your browser. They never reach us.

Deletion. A bracket, with every name in it, is deleted 90 days after it was last changed. The organiser can delete it sooner with the staff link.

Waitlist, demo and contact forms

What you type (your email, and your name, role, city or message if you add them), plus the kind of browser you used, the page that sent you, and your country. We use it to reply and to tell you when FeltCast is ready. We keep it until you ask us to delete it.

Who handles it

Only the services that run this site: Cloudflare (hosting, and Web Analytics: visits counted by page, referring site, country and kind of device, with no cookies and nothing that identifies you), Supabase (our database) and Resend (sending email). They handle it for us and for nothing else.

Your choices

To see or delete anything we hold about you, email [email protected]. To leave a bracket, ask its organiser, or wait: it deletes itself. Run a free bracket.
